LMU Day of Giving Instructions for "Peer-to-Peer" Advocates

STEP 1 - Register on the LMU GiveGab Site: Peer-to-Peer Advocates will receive an e-mail (sample below) after LMU registers you on the GiveGab site. This email will confirm you're an Advocate for your fund of choice, with login instructions and tips for the easy-to-use the platform. In a separate e-mail from LMU, you will receive a link to the Advocate Toolkit. This will have sample correspondence and graphics you may use for your outreach.

  • You may also register yourself on the GiveGab site by navigating to the Advocates tab from the Menu dropdown on February 13!

STEP 2 - Login to Your LMU Advocate Personal Dashboard and Create Your Own LMU Fundraising Page: Once you have received your (above) login instructions, use the link in the e-mail to go to your fundraising dashboard on the GiveGab site and personalize and familiarize yourself with your fundraising page (you may choose to personalize as much or as little as you like!).

STEP 3 - Share Your Page on Your Social Media: Once you have your fundraising page set up, you can start sharing your unique advocate link out with your network via social media, text, e-mail, or any other method of choice. Click on the 4th tab of your Advocate Dashboard, and share your page on Facebook, X (Twitter) or other social media sites with a direct link to your page. Be sure to use your own unique link for sharing so you can get credit for gifts made as a result of your work!

STEP 4 - Track Your results: You can see who's responded on your fundraising dashboard, and use the LMU Advocate Leaderboard to see how your advocacy is doing compared to others! We'll have prizes for our top Advocates!
