Basics to Becoming an ambassador
How do I become an ambassador?
If you weren't invited to fundraise for an organization, you can still sign up! Just visit the organization's profile and click the "Fundraise" button.
What link do I share?
You'll want to share the link created for your fundraising page found in your Fundraising Dashboard.
How do I get the word out?
To get the word our about Giving Day, you'll want to communicate with your contacts through email messages, social media posts, and word of mouth. Check out the communication guide below for ideas of what to post and when!
What am I responsible for?
Getting the word out, helping known goals be reached, and having FUN!
You can have a major impact on the success of Giving Day as an ambassador if you work hard to spread the word. You'll make the most impact by being creative and having as much fun as possible with sharing your fundraiser with everyone you know!

Use the resources below to help demonstrate your LMU pride and spread the word about Day of Giving. Every #LMUDayofGiving post, email, or text you share leading up to and on March 18 will contribute to the success of the day.

For all of your messages:
- "Join me!" is one of the most compelling things an advocate can say.
- The general Day of Giving URL is dayofgiving.lmu.edu. You can always directly link to a particular program or fund you want to support.
- Add the hashtag to the end of your messages: #LMUDayofGiving
- Use our Day of Giving graphics! They're great for Facebook, Instagram, X, email and text message artwork, and anywhere else you'd like.
